Calverton Footballer Investigated for Cyber Hacking

A CALVERTON MAN is being investigated by the National Crime Agency for suspected cyber fraud.

Stevie Stokes, a senior IT security consultant based in Flatts Lane, Calverton, is ‘helping NCA officers with their enquiries’ after the business systems of two major banking institutions and at least one major European sporting organisation were hacked.

‘A 28-year-old man from Calverton is being questioned,’ said a spook in a suit.

‘We’re not able to confirm if the individual, who plays football for Calverton Miners Welfare FC, will be available for team selection for the foreseeable future and would suggest the club considers other tactical options, such as Mick from the reserves with the sweet left foot.’

In the meantime, Calverton Miners Welfare FC continues to prepare for next season’s UEFA Champions League, while Belgium’s Koninklijke Racing Club Genk continues to be very, very upset.
